Calleva Roman Town
Remains of the ancient Roman town of Calleva Atrebatum. Town wall and ampitheatre exist. Free entry every day of the year.One of only three Roman towns in the country to be as well preserved, having been totally abandoned when the Romans left and so never built on.

A large lake has boating and pedaloes for hire, and fishing, and there is a camping and caravan site for overnight stay.
